Formation of La Cholla Airpark was the dream idea of a small group of pilots for the enjoyment of other pilots and their families.  Being pilots, they knew what other pilots imagined and dreamed of as an ideal place to live.  They incorporated those desires and dreams into the Covenants, Conditions, and restrictions (CCR’s) for the Airpark.

They also instituted an Architectural Committee to insure that homes built in the Airpark met the “first class construction” requirements of the CCRs and to protect everyone’s investment.

Though there are numerous private airparks throughout the United States, none can beat or boast of the year round climate conditions for enjoying the love of flying like Southern Arizona, with 360 days a year of VFR flying weather.  This weather is the main reason that our government has selected the nearby Davis-Monthan Air Force Base as the military installation to store thousands of military planes when not in use.
